About Travina

Since 2014, Travina’s founders have come to Istria regularly for summer holidays. At first we were looking for accommodation for our own trips, then choosing a place and an apartment for family holidays, and later — property for investment.

Along the way we went through, first-hand, the stages a foreigner in Istria typically faces: choosing an area and a property, buying and furnishing it, renovations, working with local professionals and institutions, going through the necessary procedures, buying land, and preparing to build.

Since February 2022, we’ve lived in Istria full-time. So today we see it at once through the eyes of a tourist, a property owner, an investor, and someone for whom Istria has become everyday life.

That experience is where Travina’s approach comes from: to help a client not just find accommodation or a property, but go through the whole path more deliberately — stay, look around, choose a place, decide, organise what’s needed, and have a reliable local contact after the purchase.

Travina d.o.o. is a local company based in Pula. We work on accommodation, choosing a place to live, coordinating property decisions, investment projects, and supporting owners across Istria.

At the same time, we keep a clear line between our own role and the work of regulated professions. Where a licensed broker, lawyer, notary, tax advisor, architect, engineer or other specialist is needed, the client works directly with that professional — Travina can help organise and coordinate the process within an agreed scope.

What matters to us isn’t a one-off contact, but a long-term relationship — from your first introduction to Istria, to having your own place here, with the confidence that someone is looking after it when you’re not around.
